Are subscription prices changing?
This 50% off app sale is only valid for lifetime licenses of Grid for iPad, not the monthly subscription. The cost of the monthly subscription will remain the same.
Can existing Grid for iPad subscribers access the discount?
Existing Grid for iPad subscribers can access the 50% discount on a lifetime license, but the cost of the subscription will remain the same during the discount period.
Due to the way the App Store works, they will have to wait for their cancelled subscription to expire before purchasing the app outright. If they want to purchase the discounted app immediately, follow these steps:

Will the discount be available in more countries in future?
This is the third year that Smartbox has been taking part in the awareness month sales. They are offering the discount of our app in over 150 countries and will continue to review the pricing of Grid for iPad around the world, in collaboration with their Partners.
Is the price drop and discount available for Grid 3 too?
The Autism Acceptance Month sale is only available with Grid for iPad. We are keen to hear any customer feedback on extending the discount to Grid 3 for Windows devices in the future.
How long will my quote be valid for?
Quotes featuring the 50% discount for Autism Acceptance Month will only be valid between April 1st - 11th 2025.
Can I have a quote and purchase the app later?
You can request a quote any time before the offer period, but the purchase must happen within the offer window of April 1st - 11th, 2025.
Can I have the discount after the end date?
The discount is only valid between April 1st - 11th, 2025.
Are in-app purchases included in the discount?
Any additional in-app purchases, such as PODD, are not included in any offers.
Is the discount applied to Talk Pad devices with Grid for iPad?
No, the 50% offer is only available on the Grid for iPad app.
Is any additional discount available to schools?
Yes, if a school would like to purchase more than 20 copies of the Grid for iPad app, they will receive a further 50% off the already discounted price during the April 1st - 11th, 2025 sale – providing a 75% discount in total!
Will Grid for iPad be discounted again?
Both Smartbox and TTMT aim to provide value and exceptional support all year round so we have a focus on equitable pricing all year round too. Following positive feedback from taking part in the 50% off discount for AAC Awareness Month in 2023 and 2024, and Autism Acceptance Month in 2024, we are planning to take part in these discounts again in the year to come.
Does the discount apply to Grid for Schools?
Yes, the discount does apply to any eligible school purchasing licenses of Grid for iPad. The Grid for Schools resources and training bundle can be added at any time for $999. You can combine the Apple School Manager Program discount with the Autism Acceptance Month discount to get a total of 75% off in the app store from April 1st through 11th.
